Would say spend 1k+ but depends what you want. Read the threads and pick up suggestions here and there and start planning your wardrobe. Can be some great finds on Link below. http://www.styleforum.net/f/6654/buying-and-selling If you can spend 1k then you can get MTM or semi-bespoke tailored but some OTR stuff will be very good too at that price. http://gentlemansgent.blogspot.com/

My foot is a UK 9. Although in most of the Church's I wear UK 8.5.

This is my first JL pair and I asked to try UK8, UK 8.5 and UK 9. UK 9 was huge for me as the boots weren't following my feet as I was walking. UK 8 was uncomfortable and UK 8.5 was OK, so I got the UK 8.5.

Yesterday, I wear them for the first time and I had some problems with my left foot's little toe. I assume this is because I walked too much in London and my feet were swelled. Otherwise, I really like how the boots hug my feet. Are comfortable in the walking and they do look really beautiful with jeans.

    +1, beautiful looking suit.

really depends on how you shop. if you want the convenience and options at full blast you could go retail and spend 2-3k+ easy on a suit. or if you like you could buy used on B&S or ebay and pay well under a grand for suits that retailed for 6k. or you could shop new on ebay and shopthefinest or ehaberdasher and the like, and hope you find something nice in your size and get great stuff from 500 - 2k. it really depends on your comfort level, budget and how picky you are.

    best of luck my man!

Yeah, I need to start saving up the moolah.

Obviously, at 19, I feel like I would stick out because my friends are all wearing button downs/pants/shorts/polos/etc, but I've always loved the way Disick dresses.

I may have to end up getting a cheaper suit at first, then work my way up from there.

Thank you to whoever posted that suitsupply place.

Suits there are around 470, that seems like a very solid price for those looking suits. With tons of sizes for everyone.

I have bespoke suits that were (for my income level, anyway) painfully expensive and one is a heavy flannel I only wear when it's cold. I also have an off-the-rack cotton suit that I absolutely love; it was around $250 including tailoring and I wear it spring through fall.

What's more important for you is to first identify the kind of suit you want -- the style, the colour, where you'll be wearing it, etc. After that you'll find this forum to be a great resource for helping you find something that will meet your needs and budget, at least in the short term.

    First post in this thread.

I took advantage of some clearance sales to pick up a pair of heavy cotton pants and a couple cashmere/wool ties.

These are a dark brown from Armani Collezione, $65.

The one on the left is Zegna, navy blue with silver and burgandy stripes (cashmere/wool/silk blend) $30.
The one on the right is Paul Smith, The British Collection, navy blue and dark green stripes (wool/silk) $25

With the temperatures being what they are, all of this will have to wait until next fall.
