oops. i like it. teh chesterfield.
New Borrelli shirts, all in desperate need of darts.
Currently in that bittersweet limbo after ordering some new items, but awaiting them to be made, so living vicariously by reading a bit of this thread in the meantime. Should keep me sated for a while.
- MTM trousers from Ede & Ravenscroft: a charcoal grey flannel from H&S Viceroy, and a just-darker-than-RAF-blue tweed from their Sherry Tweed II book. I think the Sherry Tweed II book may technically be jacketing, but the cloth in question feels sturdy & tight enough to be fine for trousers too. Same style as the mid-grey flannel ones I'm wearing today.
- Rayner & Sturges bespoke shirts, ordered via Sartorial Executive: an Alumo blue OCBD, an Alumo lilac stripe oxford with a normal collar, and a dark blue checked Acorn Grange BD. Plus getting an old Thomas Mason blue end-on-end shirt from them recollared & recuffed.
sounds great. post pics when you get em. any progress on the overcoat search? i saw you liked the one pB posted.
The Vanda has landed!
Shout out to Gerald! Brilliant work, mate!
beautiful tie man.
j, you are on a fucking tear. that thing is fantastic.
J is flat out murdering with these recent purchases.
Debating keeping it. Its too similar to a Brooks Brothers one I already have. The leather is so much nicer, but it still feels... redundant. Have I gone mad?
Received 3 excellent (and rather soporific) ties from Sam Hober a couple of weeks ago.
Also, after seeing the Vanda tie above, I just remembered that he had restocked the lapel pins. I just ordered a few of those (pic from his blog).
^^ noice! ^^
if its my size, no you havent. if not, yes you are bat shit crazy.
