    I picked up some pants from the tailor that he was altering in the waist. He took out the band across the waist that read Made in Italy in order to alter it. When I got them back (just noticed this), that band was replaced with a different one that says Made in Mexico. I guess some other guy with his Mexican pants can now brag about their provenance.

    Thanks. It is from an Asian shoemaker named Pedro. Not so popular. I'm going to have 2 suede shoes today from a 80-year old Vietnamese shoe maker. He is great. Will post them soon
