^^ That's beautiful. Should be a no-brainer. Classic piece which will never go out of style. If it fits you - keep it for sure.

thanks malford. yes i forgot to mention, it fits like a glove. might take it out a teeeny tiny bit in the armpit area for a slightly looser fit, but it really doesnt NEED any alterations.

My navy cashmere overcoat remains my favorite even though it's heading to 10 years old!

Keep it. Don't listen to the haters, just keep it and wear it once or twice every season.

+1. You can wear that when you're twenty or one hundred and twenty. Absolute stone classic piece of Menswear.

Just got a lovely black Loro Piana for Bugatti DB sports coat - again, pre-owned on ebay, but perfect condition - and $50. I have been on a roll recently. Pics when I am actually wearing it with appropriate accompaniment - not the jeans and vest I have on today.

    Crosspost SW&D recent purchase

    RLPL Cardigan,

I think it's Loro Piana cashmere from Mongolia or China, very thick, wear as a jacket. Made in China.
Material and craftsmanship is no worse than my Cucinelli. Actually the detail is better. Click spoiler to see details.
I love it so much. :in love:

Wow that looks great! I didn't know that RLPL made anything in China

How much did it set you back if you don't mind me asking and where did you get it?

They were available online at RalphLauren.com, and they have it on mrporter.com
I believe Madison store and Chevy Chase store also have it.
