Paul Stuart Phineas Cole shirt - on sale
John Varvatos suit - bought retail, needed a suit quickly and couldn't wait for the Nordstrom Mens Half Yearly where I was told Canali suits might be up to 50% off. I bought a Varvatos sport coat a year ago, and that seems to be much better quality then the current suits.
    MTM tie
MTM shirt from Nordstrom arrived today
Armani Collezioni shirt on sale at Saks
I bought my sister some Stuart Weitzman pumps on sale at Saks
    Santoni Jadwins

It's been a busy month for me.

Sales have been Grim in San Francisco, even with everyone doing 60%-70% off. Sadly, anything really desirable isn't in the sale (e.g., EG shoes, Prada Briefcases, Berluti, etc). So the HF store invited their best customers to get a little extra discount for coming. I think they sold a jacket or two, a few shirts, a pair of trousers and maybe 6 ties. I decided to only buy top notch ties after Vox's 'what would you do different' thread from a while back, but I didn't have the heart to go and NOT buy something.

Two nice handmade ties for $30 and a PS for $30. Not sure if my purchases helped or hurt them.

Every little helps I think. I sort of felt this way recently in a store (not a clothes one though). Some places are really suffering.

    VERY NICE!!!

And, of course, Hoodies that cost more than new John Lobbs are an excellent way to do your part in reviving the struggling US Economy! [IMG]

Wear them and enjoy them; though all the Carpe Diem, LMaltieri "ars povera" stuff I tried on only made me look like a homeless chimney sweep, nevertheless, the finishing and fabrics used are gorgeous and comfortable.

I had successfully repressed that image to the darkest recesses of my memory. And now you bring back the pain. Oh, the pain...

Purchased not so long ago: a pair of PRL Benton (C&J Belgrave) punch caps from GVH and an antique cobbler's last to install toe taps myself.

Tks to the member who helped me get the Bentons, you know who you are![IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I just got paid for and ordered a bespoke shirt from Mario Bosco.

I should be excited. He is one of the best in Atlanta and makes some great stuff but the more I think about it, the less I like the color. The shirt may very well go on the for sale section.

DAMN I really don't like this shirt the more I think about it. AURRGH. I mean, I am really upset with my purchase.

    Does it fit well?

If so, don't worry and just order a colour you like next time!

^ Not that this comes as a surprise, but those Peals look much nicer than in BB' online pics.

Yes, thanks. I quite like them. They're a little lighter than the darker picture.
