1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Didn't know they did a Dutch translation. Bought my copy a few weeks back from amazon.de (English version of the book) for 9 euros including free shipping to NL.

I have the urge to buy this book (in engrish :p) is this a book you can refer to time and again, or does it primarily sit on the shelf?

Mr. Spoo those are my kinda shoes.

I bet they don't weigh a total of one pound between the two of them! The soles look like they are about 1/8" thick. I'm sure the suede is beyond lucious. And the shape!

I love shoes that say 'Because I can! That's why!' and these do just that.

    Enjoy 'em!

    G.

PS - who makes these puppie for Mr. Ford?

what I dont get, is assuming Spoo took both pics, how in the world is the $6 Whopper meal pic crystal clear while the $600 Tom Ford pic blurry as fech?

I've read it twice over the years and will probably read it again some day. And I sometimes take it of the shelf to look something up. It's an interesting book, with a lot of pictures. I'm sure you'll like it.

Stock photo of whopper, my photo of shoes... blurry cause I threw my back out that morning and bending over to take shoe shots was like being assraped with a lightning rod.
