    Boring photo-less list:

Red tie with a Neapolitan-style print made by "Diva" (great tie, never heard of the maker), from Fluess & Fischer in Cologne (fantastic little store).

Three pairs of trousers from the Borrelli store in Rome, at a ridiculous, B&S-beating discount (two cotton: burnt orange and brown; one grey flannel). None of the coats they had in stock fit me, all the more galling since they were all, cotton, wool, or cashmere, selling for around 200 Euros!

Rubinacci tie, slubby raw silk, emerald green with red and white regiment stripes, from the Rome shop.

Two pairs of Gallo socks and a Gallo knit tie, ditto.

Ancient madder tie from Budd's, dusty dark green.

Navy Marinella-like tie from Turnbull & Asser.

Green houndstooth cashmere tie from Anderson & Sheppard (made by Holliday & Brown). They were incredibly nice & friendly -- shockingly so given how little money I was obviously going to spend....

Bunch of tastelessly colourful socks from Richard James.

Bamford & Sons corduroy jacket, made by Castangia, for a song on eBay. Very sad to hear they've gone the way of all cloth.

Cross-posted on spectator and wingtip threads but I guess I'm just bored today . . .

EG Falkirk, US 10D on the 82 last in chestnut antique - also, if anyone is interested in seeing how real gangsters dressed during Prohibition, I highly recommend the Images in America: NYC Gangland paperback. The cover shows a line-up of jewish and italian "Murder Inc." gunmen from the Brownsville section of Brooklyn. The pearl-grey fedora (only available as a custom order color from Borsalino these days) and doublebreasted chesterfields seem to have been something of a uniform back in 1933. . .

EG for RLPL - Whitaker US 10D on the 89 last in Acorn & Ivory (basically looks like the EG Cardiff as spectator in edwardian antique and white suede):
