yikes, what happened to DB & chain guy? he looks about forty years older than in the classic "Captain Morgan Sucks on an Icecream Cone" portrait.

also, gotta be honest, that thing on his tie? it looks like a bird dropping.

How does Lino get so much angle on his knots?! It's just a regular 4 in hand right?

Not a tie expert. But IIRC, in an interview he's done with GQ awhile ago, he said its the way he pulls the narrow end that gave it the angle.

I can do that and I've never been to Milan.

I'm so sick of this guy. I've been critiquing him forever. He, with his antiqued face to match
his shoes, is like Herpes... He persists. Maybe the Italian Tax authorities will take him out
of circulation for a while. That's my only hope.

^Some people don't get dressed up to be technically correct. I think a lot of people know the rules, but get tired of them and go the F you route. I admire it to a certain extend, and I certainly wouldn't get annoyed with someone who is just dancing to the beat of their own drum.

I've met him. He is quite charming and friendly although his English is about as good as my Italian. I wish SA's in most retail stores were as nice as him.

As we say in Spanish ," puede ser": could be. It may be web distortion. Had I met him in person my impression might be very different.
I have many friends, whose impression based on the web, would've turned me off completely. One of my closest friends, from third
grade, is a university professor who dresses like a very clean derelict.

That's what I've heard from several people that have visited his shop. I don't understand the hate. He seems to enjoy his clothes.

Nice video. Though I didn't understand a single word.

I got more of the Italian than the French..10% maybe... but I found it comic that the make over makes the scruffy all-black guy out to look like Lino. Does this mean I should only talk to SAs that look the way I want to?

I think I got that the chain was for a billfold. In Milan it might be a necessity, but around here it might be interpreted as indicating some sexual preference. I think my body should be a chain-free zone.

Did that go out with Hammer pants? I dunno. Either way, no chains on me.
