I just bought 200 pouches of vanilla bean tea from Might Leaf Tea. They make great tea, but though I tend to buy their Earl Grey, I got 100 pouches more for the same price ($~50). Hopefully it tastes good cause I'm stuck with them until sometime between February and April.

What food item did you buy?

I r stoopid. That's why I cook.

I personally don't make bordelaise much. My friend is the bigtimer saucier and the bones are for him. But, in theory, make a rich stock, turn it into espagnole. Sweat some shallot in a pan, deglaze w/ Bordeaux, add herbs, simmer to a syrup, add espagnole, simmer, then add bone marrow. Is kick ass.

I just bought some 1000 day aged gouda. It's rich, nutty, and surprisingly crunchy at some points.
