Has anyone encountered any stockists for L'ettiquette around the city? I went through their list, but at least half of those businesses seem to no longer exist, and all the others I've had a chance to stop by didn't have it

And similarly, anyone socking the new Jason Jules Black Ivy book. I had figured Drake's would given their connection with him, but if they are it's not on the site and they haven't advertised it

There are some magazine/smoke shops in the SOHO area which carry a large selection of magazines.

Was able to get over to Casa last night - I think I definetley prefer Iconic, all of the shelves at Casa sit at a very steep angle that makes it difficult to actually see what they are. In any case, I wandered in at the same time as another dude also looking for L'etiquette, and he said to us he has a shipment of it, hopefully including the English edition, on its way from the UK. He wasn't able to give any kind of time estimate though - "could be next week, could be next month". So we'll see

In the meantime (or if it never arrives) Junior's sells it online, but I'd much prefer to buy locally so I might just wait

Are Sanitation workers negotiating some sort of union contract or something? Last couple weeks, they have systematically organized blockages of city blocks by slowing down as much as humanly possible, at rush hour and synchronized over parallel city blocks.

in 20+ years in the city, I’ve never seen anything like that. Just spent 25 minutes to go through one block behind a truck that was not moving and workers laughing at everyone behind. Cab driver said yesterday he spent over 3 hours in those organized blockades. It’s wild
