At Le Coucou, lunch reservations are easier than dinner. I think reservations are not that hard to get 28-30 days out. In contrast, reservations at Blue Hill at Stone Barns have gotten so much harder than before. I had to book 60 days out at the stroke of midnight and spots were disappearing.

I haven't been to EMP in quite a few years. I thought they were under going renovations. Are they back?

Ate there about a year or so ago (a function with a set menu and appetizers) and it was fantastic.

The "Best Pizza" thing always makes me laugh. There is no "Best Pizza". "Most Pretentious Pizza", sure. "Most Unusual Pizza", probably. "Best Pizza While Drunk at 2:00 a.m." definitely. But "Best Pizza"? Well, it depends on whether you are drunk and whether it is 2:00 in the morning.

Well, "best" anything is pretty subjective, but with pizza as with most other types of food there are fairly clear quality differences. "Best Peking Duck", "Best Foie Gras", "Best Paella", and "Best Filet" probably are different when you're drunk at 2:00 a.m. as well.

I guess its like "best" girl at the bar. There will be different answers as each hour ticks away.
