1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Often they are smoking a cigarette while checking their phone (while "riding")!

Love that place and didn't know the story. Thanks.

If you haven't been to the EC, check out the Monday night lecture series. It comes with a tour and I think your kids might dig the trophy room.

You should join. I'm sure your field studies in the wilds of SanFo will qualify you. Ethnographically speaking, the Amazon rain forest has nothing on a Whole Foods Market in San Francisco.

Humidity. ALWAYS with the humidity. I break a mild sweat walking in LA when it's barely 75 while wearing linen, and I'm already cringing thinking of my Manhattan obligations this summer [IMG]

Great news! You can stop complaining about the humidity for a couple of days!

I dig snowstorms. "well looks like I'm going to log in from home". sleep in, log-in, move the mouse every now and then to make it look like i'm up and available, watch Netflix.

As much as I hate being cooped up at home, it is a good ay to polish shoes. Maybe I can wear them before June when the snow finally melts on my block.

You're not getting into the spirit of the thing. Put on a warm sweater, make some hot chocolate, fire up the sous vide and roast some marshmallows.

I check Surfline every now and then (haven't surfed since October), and the waves were really choppy during the storm. But people still went out.

Perfect time to troll the news:
