you are missing out. get it - your life will be changed forever....
I'm an EZ Pass hold out. I'm not on the Thruway enough to make it worth getting. But I'm planning to do a tour of state parks over the next year so it may be time.
The gouge for not having it is so bad that unless you are spinning a lot of plates like edmorel I don't see why you wouldn't get one.
this eliminates the ability to chit chat with the toll booth people, so nope
The lines for the Cash booths are always 6+ deep and I roll right through the EZ Pass...enjoy your chats.
again its essentially free. it just maintains a minimum balance from your credit card. if it dips below then it replenishes to the minimum balance. the only thing extra you pay for is a paper statement, but even thats optional when you opt for the e-statments they send through email.
this is probably the only annoying part. my wife will ask for a printout of the e-statment then start scouring through it like I'm guilty of something.
I have a friend whose car was stolen and he was able to track the guy via EZPass. To the minute as the thief was using it to commute to work. Cops didn't care.
Easy solution. Get an EZPass and ditch the wife.
Henry Hudson doesn't even take cash anymore. EZpass or they bill you by mail. Since when has this been going on?
about a month I think
WTF is the Henry Hudson I know the westside highway's real name is the Henry Hudson but don't know what you are talking about.
Bridge that connects upper manhattan/Inwood to southern Riverdale/west bronx
Ahhh yes. Haven't been through that in decades and never recalled a toll.
That's the Joe DiMaggio Highway/NY 9A which turns into the Henry Hudson Parkway at 72nd street (if you're headed north).
Alright, alright, I'll get an EZ Pass.
