i wish we had more snow.

Go ahead, cold haters and hate away "oh, I hate the way snow sometimes stings my precious face", but I like it, especially in the city.

I really don't like trudging through it, also, it makes it difficult for my FWD minivan to get up my driveway.

I actually agree. I'd much rather it snow than have cold rain. 25 and snowy or 35 and rainy? Would pick the snow any day of the week.

Tried to smoke a cigar in CP today. When the hell did they ban smoking outside?

This place is more SanFo-like than I remember.

Not sure Paley will work as I hate smoking around other cigar smokers.

Can I sit on the outside edge of CP on a bench? Grey zone?

In McCarren I've witnessed this scene with an old man in a full sailor outfit at the picnic benches outside the dog run. He then walked into the dog run and sat down right next to me....his son walked over and they started talking in thiiiicck boston accents to each other. then called over his black lab and left.

So if I break the cigar and make a blunt I'm good? Wonder if I could get away with my medical marijuana card?

    Zing.

Let me ask a question. Would it truly bother you to walk by me sitting quietly on a park bench smoking a cigar?

I'd be bothered by the smell for a few seconds but that'd be about it.

For the record, I smoke a cigar once or twice a year, but usually in a private setting with other cigar smoking friends.

The logic is that it's rarely just you sitting on a bench smoking. It's usually 100 people taking a smoke break in some tiny park, covering it in a dense fog of smoke.

Now, whether or not you think that's a good enough reason to ban it, that's a different discussion. But that's the thinking anyways.
