1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

They spend the day complaining about the weather, bitching and moaning about the basic existance of people, fret over constant health woes, eat a massive dinner of meat with a small side of vegetables, then comes early pajama time at home.

Large side of vegetables, and eating a massive dinner and pajama time is the same event.

Much of this comment reminds me of a certain thread about NYC...

Shoveling snow sucks(I just spent 1 hour doing it!)

Coming in and grilling a steak with some sautéed veggies while sipping on some Stoli makes up for it!

So we're getting school days off for muslim holidays. I don't see why so many commenters are mad about it.

I should've added an emjoi, as my sarcasm didn't come clear. Personally I don't think kids should have any days off for a religious holiday, that includes Rosh Hashanah. Oh, and fuck Columbus day.

Though I agree with a lot of what you post, you have to admit these analogies are completely based on ignorant assumptions.

I ate a sous vide steak last night that a blow torched after I removed it. It was awesome.

ever since I ranted about the E train being "hobo ville", I have paid attention to each train that pulls into the station to see if there's an empty car thanks to Mr. Garbage (I get on at the last car, so I can see each one as they pass).

there has been a hobo car every single fucking day for the past 2 weeks (excluding Friday, which I didn't ride the trains due to a vacation day, and excluding 2-3 other days when an A or C came first). Christ, MTA, get it together.
