1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

My post office is closed. The grocery store near me is swamped. It's panic in the streets.

    Children.

also, I don't mind the storm one bit. I get to "log in and work remotely" for today and tomorrow. The dog really loves the snow too, she bounds around in it like it's heaven, and then she falls asleep right inside our door.

I also don;t mind the storm(and yes, I have to shovel.) My fridge is stocked also. May run out for some more vodka. Then I am in tonight/tomorrow.

This is going to be so underwhelming when we get a foot of snow. There's zero chance we get to 24" much less 36".

It's no longer snowing in Harlem.

I left my snowshoes at MIL, five blocks away. Should I get them? Might be fun for the kids to play with, but not if we get less than two feet
