1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Yeah. Choosing jail, dead parent, no money flow and no pad over a $100 less 30-year-old allowance. At least he must be utterly humiliated.

In the guy's defense $400 a month from a guy who's got more money than God is pretty stingy.

On what do you base this assumption? I think the article said it was like <$50mn hedge fund. Rule of thumb is <$200mn is treading water / barely viable.

Agreed. That's really what I meant to say -- her willingness to do stuff like that probably did more to turn him into a worthless douche than the allowance and rent.

One would hope, but he doesn't strike me as someone with a well-developed capacity for self-reflection or taking responsibility. Most likely he'll find a way to blame his mom.

Hedge fund doesn't necessarily rich beyond one's beliefs. Especially at a HF that small(in comparison to others.)

Well, the Hedge Fund was a fairly new venture, he's had a whole lucrative career behind him. He's no 10 cent millionaire.

Agree. Though the fund hasn't really attracted much outside investment.
But I believe his son went to Princeton. All he wanted to do was surf, go to the gym and hang. Parents gave him 3K/month. He still did nada. Hey, get a job at Starbuck's for the benefits and some extra scratch or get a real job and live a little better.

Stupidity. Gonna be in jail for pretty much the rest of his life for being lazy and entitled.

"Mom...go out and buy me a sandwich."
My mom would have been like....
