    pB, on those rare occasions when I am exposed to frigid temperatures, I have not noticed any problem with my earrings. But I'd be wearing a hat, too, so...

    I wouldn't mind going back to tokens if it meant better subway service.

    I agree. It will make stealing phones much easier going in and out of the subway also.

    Losing a toe to frostbite is a pretty good conversation starter at cocktail parties.

    I walked around the corner of a building and got hit by a wind off the Hudson. Stopped me in my tracks until I remembered I was Canadian and soldiered through.

    Am considering having an electrician hang a light so my man card is soon to be pulled. Maybe it will work in the subway?

    I'm not sure the electrician categorically revokes your Man Card. You may be simply upgrading to a Boss Card.
