Don't fall prey to the gambler's fallacy. Shit can always get worse.

2014 will see higher fares, less frequent and more crowded trains, and more of those crappy old cars that seemingly fit 33% fewer people than the newer cars.

More MTA clusterfuck, similar to aranavel. The I get to the platform and the 1 train is 3 minutes away with another 5 minutes away. Awesome, if the first one is packed I'll just hop on the train 2 minutes behind. Both are packed over capacity. The third train is the same. The fourth train my girlfriend and I were able to finally able to work our way in while retaining the ability to breathe. It cleared out greatly at 66th and 59th. Packed to capacity again at 34th...

No more spending the night at the girlfriend's place when the weather is cold or shitty.

When my train pulled up to the station today the cart was all empty

Turns out there were 4 homeless dudes sleeping on it

    Smell wasn't that bad though

That's actually kind of brilliant. Sad, but brilliant.

The MTA makes you do this, quite often actually.

somebody should really tell the MTA that a train every 19 minutes does not work for the 6 line during the middle of a week day.

You and Conne have similar work requirements, apparently. I thought you left government service years ago.

Make sure to claim your comp time! :)

(Also, that was more of a math joke. As in, 30 minutes = 100% of actual working day. Since I was an English major, my math jokes almost always edinafail.)
