I see far more rats than I have ever seen roaches.

Thankfully the ice and snow seem to keep them in whatever disgusting burrows they live in.

"The male and female genitalia fit together like a lock and key, and that differs by species," Evangelista said. "So we assume that one won't fit the other."

Has the A&F line started yet? That's always good for a head-shaking laugh.

What's the going rate for holiday gifts to doormen, super and porters?

Saw Savion Glover at The Apollo the other night during a tribute to Duke Ellington.

    That fellow can dance.

Those people with the signs that say, "Free Hugs", what's their agenda? Steal money out of your pockets while hugging?

When do you expect to be in? Just so we know when to call 911 if you haven't posted...

I like the snow. Even when it blasts into my eyes.

fortunately, I don't have to drive. then I'd hate the snow.

I live on a quiet street and there are so many dickhead small apartments that don't shovel their sidewalk in front of it. I have this short stretch of small buildings, or lazy assholes in single family homes who don't shovel so I need to wear snow boots just to get off of my block until June.

Something feels wrong about wearing lugged soles around a perfectly clear Manhattan, when I only need them to walk a stretch of two blocks that looks like a blizzard. It is a treelined area with some tall buildings that doesn't get a lot of sunlight so when it snows it fucking stays there forever and nobody does anything about it. A few years ago when it snowed really bad I went out and I shoveled the side walk leading to the train, not all of it but about 5 blocks worth where it needed it (mostly intersections past that initial two blocks of misery). I was coming home from work and was so pissed to still be seeing it I grabbed a shovel in the building's utility closet and started shoveling like a mad man. I looked like a seriously crazy person, but hey it was either bitch about it endlessly or do something about it. A few people on the street thanked me too. I was like an urban hero.
