The produce at the pelhan fairway is not garbage, though it is hit or miss. Whole Foods is better but the selection is also much narrower. Average California produce crushes the best NY produce anyway.

I agree about the meat, not bad but mediocre and seriously overpriced. WF is better and in some cases (for most beef) less expensive. Better still and even cheaper is Arthur Ave.

    For fish, Arthur Ave rocks.

good point on the oils/vinegars/andcharcuterie. The cheese dept. at my location is not good though.

I've never had a problem with their produce beyond the generally sucky mushroom selection.

when GF moves here, i'm taking his car and going to Wegmans in Northern NJ.

I'm going to need to check out Arthur Ave. one of these weekends. I'll probably be able to do all my Eataly type shopping there for half the price.

Gome, I read GF as "girlfriend" and then read, "I'm taking his car" and then I was like, "hmm, did not know that about him".

Gome, I'm scared of how often you're gonna have my car at redline.

Expect to have some groceries in the trunk be destroyed.

That's exactly the problem with you BMW drivers. Anybody who is actually douchey enough to buy one doesn't know how to drive it.

anywhere. Prices seem standardized (i'm not sure if they are), so it's not more expensive at Duane Reade than it is at an upstate Target.

Target recently had six packs of Sierra Nevada for $7.99. Now that's a deal.
