    I'm sick of the overly idealistic youth in NYC, and this is coming from a 22 year old who grew up and went to college here. That onion article rings very true, kind of want to pack my shit up and leave.

    My company used to have a pension, but it got too expensive and they got rid of it. In 100% honesty I praise them highly for making such decisions.

    Oh and by the way, there was much cronut chatter in my office yesterday. I never heard of it until yesterday. Can't say I totally understand it either. By what people were saying it just sounds like a sfogliatelle with a hole in it.

    I think less than 20% of private companies still offer pensions.

    I actually have a pension believe it or not, but for all intents and purposes I pretend it doesn't exist. I fully expect that by the time I am old enough to draw on it, it will have been gutted. Which, frankly, is probably the right thing to do.
