Don't venture anywhere near NYU students crowd, they brew hipsters by the thousands, and it's a permanent brain damage for the rest of their lives

The scene in Brooklyn was officially dead when they hosted the VMA's there.

I need a dinner spot recommendation below 34th St in Manhattan that accepts credit cards and is an easy reservation. Some colleagues from LA need a dinner spot. Any ideas? Preferably not fancy or dressy, but not a dingy LES location either.

My neighborhood (Venice) would be a west coast challenger, as would the Los Feliz/Silverlake area of LA and a few spots in the Pacific Northwest.

    And happy anniversary.

    wow nice!

does that mean in 3 years you'll get the GF pregnant, get married, sell off the condo, then buy a house in New Jersey? :p

No way, no how. If anything get married and get a bigger condo. The other things I'd rather blow my brains out.

Oh by the way my parent's house in North Jersey cost about the same as my Brooklyn condo, is about 10 times as big and the taxes are about 15 times what I pay in taxes. What you make up in lower income taxes moving the the burbs you get creamed by real estate taxes.

    Connecticut Beyatch!

While I was watching the yankees game there was a major amusement park ride accident at an Oyster Festival of my new home town of Norwalk. One of those swing machines (with the small chairs dangling on chains for the kids to centrifugally have fun on) lost power and kids started smashing into each other while the arms holding the chairs on chains lowered to the ground.
