That was quick.
Well to be fair, the guy was an idiot. He was bragging about this just a couple of days after he did it. Said what kind of car he was driving and everything. All the cops had to do was go watch camera footage to find him.
what was his speed? he made the battery from 116th in just under 7 minutes which is probably a little less than 70 mph - fast, but a good driver in light traffic could do it pretty easily. You see idiots trying to do that in heavy traffic...
I saw his average calculated as 66mph, which isn't insane. But that's the average--he caught several lights, so he was going well above that for a good bit of time.
Not that most cabbies don't try to give him a run for his money.
He isn't passing folks at a totally insane clip. I've driven a couple of those stretches at 100+ when I was young and dumb and trying to get home to CT before my folks got up. FDR at 4 am is a lot of fun.
We should all be glad that American hasn't decide to adopt speed camera yet..
now the NY Post website is just as unreadable as its content usually is.
It's hard to judge his closing speeds and the margins he leaves with the video at 4x, but none of it looked as insane as I expected. What's astounding is how many people are out driving.
It's abysmal. Cannot navigate.
they have them in maryland where my parents live.
The NYC girl I used to bang has a boyfriend now
Trying to get her to dump him.
move the fuck on, don't be a fairy
That is contrary to my very nature!
Didn't think I needed to try very hard, he cheated on her. But now she's taken him back because "He really cares about me" and "Plenty of couples do OK after one of them cheats."
