Reasons why New York Sucks

    I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Honestly, I was paying more attention to my dining companion than to the food, but nothing we had was completely disagreeable. The fluke with tomatoes was nice, but the whole meal was sort of rushed since we didn't sit down until 10:15.

    The chicken was good. The brioche stuffing was unnecessary.

    Yeah, that's exactly the kind of stuff I'm talking about. It just detracts from the dish IMO.

    I get great birds from Four Story Hill. I usually pick up in the city. If anyone would ever like to try anything from them, feel free to PM me.

    how big are they? Since it's just me eating meat, a 4 lb bird is a little much.

    I usually get 3lb birds. Good size. Agree 4 is a bit large.

    i may be in/around Chinatown at some point this weekend. Spicy beef soup and hot taho shall be had.

    I always have trouble with Chinatown. I never know how to spot a good restaurant. You pays your money and takes your chances, of course, unless you're broke [​IMG]

    Still nothing good in New York, but I had some great Pho in Seattle. Pho seems to be as common as Chinese takeout in New York.
