If you talked to me in a calm and soothing manner you would deescalate the situation.

he knows exactly what he's talking about.

I don't think that's possible. Unless he is working for the NSA and can accurately describe my life experience and current state of mind.

I could have moved to Chicago for 50K a year and a desk job. Looking back, I am glad I went with my intuition and decided not to. Could I have had drunken nights, met more people, fucked more women? Sure! But I still know I wouldn't be as happy as I am now.

Well, I've provided pictures of food. Not much else. I will tell you that I have a very healthy, loving relationship with my mother, and she has never pressured me once into doing something I didn't want to do. My father, as well. This I know is a privilege and something I can be eternally grateful for.

Funny, when I was deciding what to do with my life I was more worried about what I could do to ensure my parents wouldn't have to feel any pressure... But to each their own.

^^

You are setting up a bunch of people here for some awful jokes.

No problem. One of the greatest things you can do for yourself is rid the fear of what others will think of you.

We haven't had a flame war in forever. Manton and Tokyo Slim aren't even directly involved.
