    +1

I generally find that Luke's uses a little too much butter, but I do respect the near vertical integration (one of the owners grew up in prime lobster country and Luke's sources all lobster from that guy's family lobster operation, or so they say).

My outbound experience at JFK was 99% misery--arrived 2 hours early and STILL barely made it (thank you TSA and Delta Airlines), also, WTF is wrong with Terminal 4, why did they create these crazy elevator bottlenecks from when you pass security to get to the gate?

However, the one bright note was the marcus samuelson restaurant that had a fantastic burger.

Got monsooned on on the way to the train this morning. I look like a sewer rat now. Well, off to the cleaners... Again. I feel like between the humidity and out of nowhere tropical storms I have spent about $1k this year on dry cleaning.

i decided that going in to work early wasn't my thing. Ended up as dry as I could ask for. I did come awfully close to a puddle, though.

Speaking of terminal 4. Can I carry-on shoes with shoe trees in them? Or are they weapons? (Serious question)

so that would be the first big NYC downpour of 2013 that missed me. I had to leave town to miss it. There is a lesson in this.

My silly girlfriend thought she could bring her olive oil shampoo in her carry-on bag. it would have ben $90 to check it. Sadly, it went to airline worker I am sure.

i do find it humorous that you guys always get soaked even with your fancy superdome sized umbrellas, yet I generally emerge unscathed in most weather conditions. had to dry clean a pair of trousers once this year due to lack of crease.
