Not cool, bro. (Garth Vader, that is)
I am guessing he mean swing dancing, they do dress like that. Though I thought the fad collapsed in the late 90s
I think he meant Swing Dance?
Well, let's hope that's what he meant.
It is actually huge in NYC right now. One of the larger scenes apparently.
in la it was all over by 2000.
Here there is an event that the dancers can go to practically every night of the week if they wanted to. A lot of visitors from France who dance as well. Supposedly it is a sister city in terms of the dance scene.
Cool. Jazz Age Lawn Party round 2 is next weekend.
I'm sure he knows. I have never gone to that even though people tell me it is a lot of fun. It is just such a bitch to get there, imo, not worth it.
I went last year and it was quite fun. Bill Cunningham always goes. unfortunately I'm out of town both weekends this year.
Same here, I'll be in Seattle next weekend.
Haven't danced swing in ages, what's the typical here? West Coast swing?
Lindy Hop and Balboa.
I swing, but I don't dance.
ah Lindy Hop, ok, definitely out my alley, did mostly the ballroom dancing kind in the past
