To be fair everyone on the streets acts like an entitled asshole. Pedestrians are as bad as the drivers.

I've seen three, yes THREE vehicles turn south (wrong way) onto 6th Ave from 26th St. The last time I yelled at the driver to get over the side and turn around when the lights/traffic allow it. Fucking New Jersey and Long Island drivers...

I've seen six 7-11 locations pop up in the last year. It is truly horrifying; until I buy two Gatorades for $2.22 before my softball game...

dunkin donuts is wickkkiid awwweeesome... faaack awwwf.

i think its because of the iced coffee. i think i read that iced coffee has now surpassed regular hot coffee as the caffeine vehicle of choice of the north east - even in the dead of winter. D&D has those machines and staff to produce specific orders of iced coffee so fast.

dd brags about how great the coffee is but the one time I had it, at LGA, I thought it was terrible. And I am very far from being a coffee snob, I happily drink the lousy coffee that my office provides for free.

Are you sure the freeness isn't coloring your perception of the office coffee?

DD coffee sucks. The only people who swear by it are the people who only ever had street cart coffee in the past.

Just think of the millions who drank Maxwell House/Folgers/etc canned coffee for decades without complaint.

It is funny, my parents used to until I started buying Gimme Coffee and then they converted and hate me because they spend 10x as much on coffee now.

I like my $13.99/lb organic coffees. And I hand-grind with a burr grinder and then French press. :slayer:

i buy iced coffee from The Coffee Bean because I'm a sucker for the tiny ice cubes they use. Coffee is no good otherwise.

Kirkland is actually pretty good coffee, better than maxwell and the like. A girl I dated's father used to brew it. He always ground his fresh though.

    You suburbanites and your cars.

DD is pretty terrible. I used to drink it when I was on a client out in Jersey with terrible office coffee and no other options around. Was so glad when I finished that engagement.
