As a New Yorker with older parents, the inevitable conversation topic of Floridan Real Estate came up. I'm sure there are some folks here who are RE brokers, owners or have plenty of information on the FL real estate market and I'd love to hear from you.
Which areas in Florida do you feel are the best investment when it comes to real estate? The purpose would be to purchase a 1 -2 bedroom apartment in an area where there is a vibrant community and access to various domestic services to escape the NY winter for a few months.
I hear about Tampa (clearwater), Saratoga Springs, West Palm Beach, South Miami, Naples, the list continues on. I'm hoping folks could chime in on the perspective areas.
Harry.
