Holy $@%!, that is a fantastic sportcoat. Looks authentic to me; nothing sticks out as "faked".

I'll allow the more experienced members to comment, though.

    1) That's a 100% authentic Sartoria Attolini coat
    2) It's about as nice a cost as I've ever seen on EBay and would go for about $5k+ at retail
    3) Buy the coat!

I concur. The coat is fantastic. The only thaing that would keep me from buing it is that I don't really like flap pockets on sportcoats, but that is an oddball issue that I have.

It looks legit to me. Again, the fabric is stunning. Right up my alley.

agreed-- that is one of the best sportcoats i've seen in a while, and even tho $700 SEEMS steep for a fall jacket, it would be well worth the investment. buy it and post pix on the forum! [IMG]

If any of those were in my size, I'd jump on it. The prices are unbelievable considering these are the genuine article.

I think it is, Ed. It looks like it's pulling two much on the top button.

i would use caution on that newly pictured jacket....even tho it is kiton, the pattern could be easily mistaken for grandpa (or grandma??) by the opposite sex. I had a similar brioni cashmere jacket that i ended up selling; the dogtooth pattern was just too large to look masculine.

I actually have a Kiton jacket in the same fabric with a slightly different colorway. Mine is the same cream, but with dark brown rather than the bi-color. When I got it, I held off wearing it for awhile. Now I wear it all winter, and get more random compliments on it than on any other jacket in my wardrobe.

It is quite stunning, but does it really have a 25" chest? I'm assuming the seller didn't double it, which means that it's a 50" chest for a 42L suit, which is very wrong. In fact, I wear a 44L, and it would be too big for me at 20.75" shoulders and 50" chest.

Also, you would need extremely long arms to wear this. With real buttonholes taking the sleeve up is a very very expensive undertaking.

It does seem to measure more to a e56L or XL, which would be a 44L or XL.

I wear a e54L. Which is a 42.6L in US sizes. The chest is normally 46 inches, the sleeve to sleeve length across the back should be 19.5-20.0 and the total length should be 34 inches. This jacket is substantially bigger in every direction.

However for a 44L with 26.5 inch sleeve length this is a smashing buy!

Do ask the seller to remeasure the chest width as described in the AskAndy Website home page link to jacket measuring. I do ask and do refer specifically to the website and link and a good seller will read it and reply.

I asked the seller for a remeasurement of the chest a la Andrew Harris' link.

I will post his answer, if any.
