Hi,
I've got a raincoat (cotton exterior) that has gotten a bit dirty and needs a clean. I'm fine with sending it to a dry-cleaner for this. However, I imagine it then needs to be re-waterproofed.
The nicer dry cleaners will do this, for a sum of £25-30. To be honest for that amount (on top of the dry cleaning cost) I would rather attempt it myself.
So does anyone have any tips/knowledge on how best to do this? Or what the dry cleaners use?
I should state that I know that raincoats are not "waterproof" but are resistant to water.
Thanks,
Ross
