Re-purposing older graphc tees

Hi all,
First off i apologize if there is already a thread regarding this. I searched and couldnt find anything relating to what im doing.
I have about 20 short sleeve shirts with mostly screen printed graphics, not sure if I am calling that right. A majority are LRG so however they print their graphics onto the tees.
I want to use the graphics or parts of the shirt to apply to a new shirt or crewneck/hoody sweatshirt. I understand there is going to be a lot involved but I think it would be cool to create new pieces with older ones.
Has anyone come across this happening before? I imagined cutting a graphic out and sewing it into the new garment I have or splicing the shirt into the new garment, possibly weaving it. I dont know Im still trying to figure out if this can even be something I would like to wear once I am finished. I basically wanted to get some suggestions of how I could make this happen.

Bottom line. I want to take older pieces (graphic tees) and create a new piece(s) from them. I like the designs of the older tees and believe I can create something unique.
