1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

So are you guys not familiar with irony or what? I think obliviousness to linguistic subtlety should be banned.
I think overthinking stuff should be banned or maybe "adding too much meaning when it isn't deserved" should be banned also.

ooohh oooh oooh. I got another one.... How about "trigger?" Lets ban that one. I have used it before, but if I have to hear someone say, "I had to pull the trigger on those PRPS impalas, because at that price point of $65 it just had to be done," I am gonna shit myself again. Let me tell you my pants are dirty these days.

[IMG] No unintended meaning was assumed. Something that was implicit had to be explained to you.
Said it before will say again, a colourway is a group of colours, i.e: a colour scheme, not just one colour. E.g: If you were to say "I like those air force ones in the navy/orange colour" that would mean the colour that is in between navy and orange, where as if you were to say "I like those air force ones in the navy/orange colourway" you are clearly referring to the colour scheme that has navy and orange. Sure you could just say colour scheme, but it doesn't sound appropriate.
[IMG] Everybody fuckin knows this. Doesn't stop people from talking about the 'colorway' of a pair of khakis. It's appropriate for sneakers and not much else.

Dude, I understand what 'colorway' is, I just think it's an annoying word and often misused, which is the topic of the thread.

I used to be annoyed by the overuse of "on point," but now that it's not as prevalent I'm returning to my original adoration for it.

It may have started as ironic, but in most cases it's not anymore...
