Hello all,

I chanced upon a pair of Carminas that fit like a glove, look terrific as a casual summer shoe, but have one small problem...

One of the shoes has been in the store display for some time, and apparently the lights aren't UV filtered and are left on 24/7, resulting in substantial bleaching of the one shoe :-(.

Since I'm a good customer and they're phasing out Carmina, they sold them to me for a song. My hope is that they can be re-coloured to match by a shoemaker/cobbler. Failing that, I could always leave the other one in the sun for a few weeks and hope that it fades to match the other one, although I prefer the darker colour (called Camel in Carmina parlance). Model 10078 Derby dress shoes, Simpson last, camel suede.a

Check out the pictures and let me know what you think.
