    Ooooh, interesting.

They are very different outfits. Upr_crust is very CBD. RDiaz is much more fashion forward, though still in good taste.

It's hard to decide given the differences between the outfits, but I am going to go with RDiaz for one reason--I don't like Upr_crust's tie. That's it!

I do *love* that Upr_crust is wearing a very classic CBD DB. Looks great, like something out of the movies.

This is a great matchup! Crust looks good as usual, but I have to give it to Diaz this time. I love his contrasting colors and the antiqued brass buttons on his blazer.

Fit, it is a tie. Styling, R. Diaz. I simply think his outfit is more interseting.

Dude, you hurt my feelings. [IMG]

Common sense should have led me to vote myself, but I just couldn't - no one on this board rocks the DB as well as Mr. Crust does. [IMG]

OK, fashion forward is maybe not the word... Less CBD, more rakish, not sure what to call it. Upr_crust is wearing pure CBD--you aren't. Still very classic and tasteful.

Your kind sentiments are much appreciated, but the voting public seems to differ with your judgment - congratulations on a handsome fit.

It was close but I had to go with UC. Two different approaches but UC, like Spoo/Holdfast is very consistent- always looking dapper. (Not that RDiaz isn't the same)

RDiaz. Nothing wrong with Upr_crust's outfit per se, I just don't like yellow/gold ties much, and the yellow tones in the room don't help things. At least it's not on a blue shirt, I can't stand that pairing.

RDiaz outfit strikes me as being more contemporary and def has a combination of colours which is why he seems to have the edge, but, I think Upr_crust's suit has a better fit. Though I must say I don't really like Upr_crust's tie from the picture.

Tbh, I think it's comparing apples with oranges here.

RDiaz's outfit would have been better in a face-off against In Stitches odd jacket and grey trousers combinations since they'd belong to the same category of clothing -- casual v casual.

Over here, what we're seeing is a casual outfit being pitted against a conservative suit. So, naturally, one'd expect more colours etc on RDiaz's outfit, whilst for CBD the opportunities for being more whimsical is limited.

It also doesn't help upr_crust that his suit is dark charcoal, and all together more somber, which strikes me as being smth that would appeal to the older generation, and not necessarily the igents who prefer a bit more creativity and colour.

I really agree, these two outfits are very different, and not really a fair comparison.

Na, the essence of both outfit are very classic. I much prefer Upr_Crust outfit because he looks more elegant in his own clothes, it is almost like he is not wearing it.

I prefer the trouser length on upr_crust's outfit and give the nod to him for that reason. His photos are the reason I will likely never post an outfit I'm wearing because I will look like utter CRAP in comparison. Dude rocks.

Yeah, Upr_crust is one of the most consistently good CBD dressers on the forum.

He has a lot of ties I don't like, but everything else is always so spotless, I can forgive it.
