I know that there have been a few different posts on how people store their razors between shaves, but I'd like to hear how people do it - I am thinking of getting one or another of the systems for soaking razors.

I have a metal stand that holds my razor and my shaving brush. Looks nice. Razor is close at hand.

I've got a 4-hole ceramic toothbrush holder, painted in blue and green.  I store my two razors and my toothbrush there.  They don't touch each other at all, and they all stay out of the way and off the countertop.  I got it at Bed Bath & Beyond a few months ago after too long of having them all as horizontal clutter on the countertop.

I've heard, read and seen pictures of those "soaking" razor storage things, and I just envision an unhygenic cesspool of stubbley sludge....

I have a metal stand similar to this model. Holds the razor in an upright position...ready to go and close at hand.

What's wrong with the plastic holder that comes with the Mach 3 Power?

Why bother with all that? I don't think it is really going to make any difference in blade life.

Mine are layed down next to each other in the bathroom drawer for me to go over and try and decide which one I'd like to use that particular morning.

Nice vase with the feather btw....would you happen to know a source for female peacock feathers? All I can find are male.

Let me check with my wife on the peacock feathers, I think she has had these for ages...

Ok, on those feathers... they are slightly glittery - pretty certain they are artificial. From Michael's Craft store (I think it is a chain, not sure). You could check at that place for such things.

My DE came with a red nylon and cardboard case. I keep it in that, with the current blade (dried and off the handle), in my dopp kit.
