Ray Ban problems?

I purchased a pair of Ray Ban wayfarers from

http://www.amazon.com/Ray-Ban-RB2132.../dp/B0029U15S0

and they've just arrived. I assume because of the ratings, the fact that Amazon goes through decent vendors, and the price I paid they are authentic. However there seems to be creaking in the frames of the sunglasses whenever I touch it. Does anyone know about this issue? Is it easily fixed?

I have the exact same glasses, but in tortoiseshell. I ordered from Zappos which I know is reputable. My glasses also creak, but it hasn't really bothered me. They only seem to creak when I adjust them and then they're fine...

Same glasses, mine also creak. It's almost comforting. now, they shouldn't creak when you're wearing them!

Mine are also pushing two years old after regular use. I don't recall if they creaked up front, but I bet they did. Let's be frank, Ray Bans are awesome, but they're not going to be top-tier quality.

Where do yours creek? Mine seems to come from the lenses itself, almost as if they were poorly aligned with the frames. When I press the sides of the frames into the lenses, the creaking lessens. Could it simply be the lenses aren't perfect fits? Is this similar to what you experience? it's not the worst thing in the world, I can get over it but I'd like to be informed anyhow.

They squeak because the frames are now made of acrylic and the frames stretch and become loose around the lenses. You can take them to an eyeglass shop and they will apply heat to tighten them back up and the squeaking will stop
