    There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    I know, right? Piob, it's his birthday for crying out loud. Your meal looks great. Maybe cut the asparagus into little medallions and saute to solve the plating issue?
    Thanks. I usually always serve my asparagus whole, I'll have to try that next time. I made a frisÃ[​IMG]e salad with crumbled blue cheese and walnut vinaigrette to go with it. I usually am not a huge fan of blue cheese, but I used St. Agur Blue, which is especially delicious.

    Nope. Especially not in the LA area. He obviously got those from the market. Around Easter, I will be picking them myself.

    Oh I was joking. You lived in Los Feliz right? The Vons that I didn't actually buy those morels from is probably the same one you wouldn't have bought them from in the 90s. They were purchased at the Hollywood Farmer's Market and are from further North, but I've heard of people finding them in the San Bernadino Mts as early as December. Our resident mycologists may protest.

    they had Morels at a place I frequent but they were way too expensive. The season is still not quite here in NYC. To make up for it I got some of these: [​IMG] And these: [​IMG] And a "what the hell, I'll try it" of this: [​IMG] All will be used to make a mushroom risotto.
