    white seabass is amazing. i used to have a fish guy i bought from ... i could get a big chunk of loin and roast it whole.
    and, yeah, farmed striped bass is completely different than wild. at it's best, it's a mild flaky fish. but at least the stuff we get here almost always has that really awful bottom-of-the-pond flavor.
