Whether or not denim is raw or selvage or both for that matter says nothing about its quality. Let's learn and move on.

Opinion? No, "I like jeans" is opinion. "Raw, selvage denim is absolutely the best denim you can buy" is confirmed marketing bullshit.

selvage doesnt mean ****. now, the best denim is probably selvage, but not all selvage is good.

example: i have a pair of selvage gap gough, and a pair of non selvage ande whall. according to you, the gap are better because they are selvage, right?

but youre ******* wrong.

the internet is the best marketing tool there is... and the best way to spread misinformation too.

I can't believe no one asked to see pics of these. Oldest I've seen here (and sf) would be 2 years.

So"” pics M?

Man, Andy Whall's are apparently the best example. Too bad I don't have a pair to compare

You're right, I made a blanket statement. Selvedge is a good indicator of quality, but not an absolute, my error.

Swearing at me is not really a good instance of "calling me out" (previous post), your post however, was.

Those gough's are ridiculous on the selvedge aren't they? All around the coin pocket and whatnot?

Erm, come to think of it, my Dior aren't selvedge and they're the best jeans I own.
