selvage doesnt mean ****. now, the best denim is probably selvage, but not all selvage is good.

example: i have a pair of selvage gap gough, and a pair of non selvage ande whall. according to you, the gap are better because they are selvage, right?

You're right, I made a blanket statement. Selvedge is a good indicator of quality, but not an absolute, my error.

Swearing at me is not really a good instance of "calling me out" (previous post), your post however, was.

Those gough's are ridiculous on the selvedge aren't they? All around the coin pocket and whatnot?

Erm, come to think of it, my Dior aren't selvedge and they're the best jeans I own.
