I have been reading up on many raw denim jeans on rawrdenim.com and the forum and I am having trouble deciding what jeans to pick. I am new to the raw fad, and i typically wear 7 jeans... I have not wore cuffs on my jeans in my life. I am 30 years old, in good shape, but never wore tapered jeans either. Fades are important to me, but fit would come first. I saw blue owl was a popular member on here, and many people purchase jeans from him, so i decided to give Jay a try.
After speaking with Jay for quite sometime, and giving him the measurements off of my 7 jeans which I like very much, he put me onto the unbranded jean. I also got them hemmed from him, which i regret i did now. I must say, i am not a fan of these jeans whatsoever.
The are super "hard" if you will, and the pockets are low, and they make ****** look like a 70 year old mans. I soaked them in warm water for 2 hours inside out, and i have been wearing them the last few days, but i must say i really dont like them, and since they came hemmed i doubt i could have returned them anyway, and jay never answered my email anyway, so i just soaked them.
Anyway, it seems as though buying raw is certainly a process, with its rewards, but i dont see myself investing the time into this jean project because of the fit and the overall quality of the jean. What jeans do you all recommend to me and why? Id like to stay under 225, and it would be super sweet to pick up a steal on ebay. I have been looking at the following...

Also, if i am typically around a 30 inseam, and i want to cuff, what length is appropriate? What size waist? My 7 jeans are a 32 and have stretched to be a 36.. i was told by jay to buy a 34 in the unbranded and stretch the wast. Looking forward to your help and suggestions. Thanks!
