Raw denim for the ladies ...

I'm sorta asking this question on behalf of my girlfriend who was wondering what raw denim is out there for girls. I told her I thought APC New Standards were considered to be a unisex jean but she thinks the rise is too high for a girl. Any ideas?

I don't know the brands but it's definitely out there and I'm seeing it on girls more and more... not that they were ever into the whole super faded / distressed thing anyway.

It really is. I really can't speak highly enough of Sling and Stones' making-the-ass-look-great ability combined with its fantastic denim and construction.
