Denim jacket fit check - sugar cane type 2 okinawa x hawaii. One wash so don't expect too much shrinkage. Worried sleeves are a touch short and jacket length a bit short (especially when sitting down, back of jacket rides up so belt and jeans are fully revealed). Satorialists, Is this the right fit or should I size up one?

Jacket is not too short. The Type II is always a little fuller (compared to a Type III). If the shortness bothers you then return but I think the next size will look strange as you will get some more blousing.

what about the sleeves? Thoughts on the sleeves being a touch short?

It's about as perfect a fit as you'll find. I don't know what you're worried about.

I think they are fine as long as the jacket is pre-washed you should have minimal shrinkage. I'm actually wearing a Strike Gold Type II today.

That's nice. Did you notice the jacket loosen up or stretch at all after wearing?

Still breaking it in. It was raw so I had to soak which made it stiff. Been too hot to wear but it's starting to soften up now.
