I tried posting in the general men's section and was asked to post here.
What does everyone think about rave clothes? I am supposed to attend a few this year and am trying to plan ahead. Any thoughts or suggestions?
I was thinking of wearing an led shirt or neon colors. I was thinking of getting these from http://grazianoclothing.com

Any thoughts or suggestions, dos or don'ts appreciated.

Uncontrol's daily outfits are suitable for raves. Ask for his (?) advice

I wouldn't have the slightest clue what kids wear to raves any more.... I have a box of pants where the cuffs are bigger than the waist if you want them.

Buy some UFO pants tshirts, glowsticks and some comfortable shoes for dancing that you don't mind destroying.
Also might be a good idea to have a backup tshirt with you so when your rolling and your shirt comes off and you lose it you'll have something to wear home.

when you say rave, what kind of music will be playing?

you can wear literally whatever you want, there is no dress code.

check out the brands Cassette Playa, KTZ, Bernhard Willhelm, Henrik Vibskov, and WL&T. I think that might be what you're looking for.

also Liquid Sky Design and Ksubi. i think you'll find though that there are many "subgroups" who go to raves and all dress differently, it's not like there is proper or improper attire. these are just "(early) rave inspired" brands.

As someone that attend raves on a somewhat regular basis I have to say that other people will not really care what you are wearing. My main suggestion is to find linen clothes because it breathes so much better and you want to keep your heat down. I would advise against wearing really tight jeans if you intend on staying all night as it will make you hotter and may be more uncomfortable. I usually take my shirt off once I get inside, again to minimize heat. You should be wearing some comfortable shoes that offer good support and you don't mind wearing out. If you buy a new pair, remember to break them in or you will regret it.

Most of the time, it is useless bringing glow sticks as they may prevent you from getting them inside because they are selling them. Take it or leave it, but if you plan on rolling don't mix or drink alcohol. PM me for more advice

T-shirt, jeans, and sneakers. Simple and comfortable. You don't want to wear anything especially nice, and no one's going to be focusing on your clothing.

you should wear spandex. it's really comfy, makes you want to do lunges all the time, and it breathes great!
