Hi all, Please let me know what you think about this fit. I'm 5'9, 155lbs, and on the slim side. This is one of the slimmer 38R's I've tried on. Other brands have been either too large in the shoulders or chest for me. Sorry for the picture quality - best I could do w/ the phone.

Hard to tell, but I'd try a 36R tbh. Hard to be sure since I can't see your entire head to compare the proportion, but it looks like the shoulders on the 38 are still too big for you. The rest of the body is not huge but might still be able to go down to a 36. As I say in every thread like this - get a tape-measure and measure round your chest under your arm-pits (in inches)...then that's the size you should be buying. (And obviously the sleeves are too long, but I'm sure you know that; shortening them is easy)

Next time, don't take a photo of yourself in a dark suit with a dozen dark suits in the background. It's impossible to tell.

When I measured my chest, I was definitely closest to a 38, not a 36.

36R's tend to fit me better in the shoulders, but most are very tight in the chest. (The non-slim brands actually fit pretty well). Additionally, the pants that usually come with 36 suits are too small (30 waist). I wear between a 32-33.

Kind of torn on which size to go with because of this...
