haha, myspace crowd. thats a funny stereotype.

anyway, the guy kind of nailed it with that comment (although my chemical romance and the killers? indie? really?), but keep in mind that if you're thirty years old you probably wont get associated with those clowns (not that it matters). If you dont mind having attention drawn to yourself, i dont see the problem. I like the one with animals stacked on each other.

The chemical/killers thing was more of a joke at the crowd who thinks that kind of stuff is indie. 03-05 i was so deep into the indie scene with bands that had 1 album that was produced for next to nothing and only played in really small venues, but it got to the point where i couldn't find anything new and just gave up. I'm behind on really new music now. The only cds i've bought the past few months have been the elliott smith b side collection and the new wilco(meh, it's no being there/yhf). While i loved some of the elliott bsides from the album, i was dissapointed because those have been floating around out there forever. It's nice to have better quality recordings though. I've promised myself i'm going to check out some new cds in the next few months though.

I really like the 2 dior shirts on eluxury on sale right now, but i can't justify $79 + shipping for a tshirt. I would like to find some decent graphic shirts, or band shirts that aren't over the top though. I like to wear that stuff casually and especially underneath things like cardigans/hoodies.

those Dior tshirts drive me crazy - I mean ok, I know the quality of the shirt is very soft and it's a good fit but it's just cotton after-all.

The graphics are interesting but nothing fantastic and frankly I've been silk-screening since I was 15 and I could make the same image and print them on AA shirts for a total of $15 a shirt..... hey wait a minute.... I might have an idea here!

Sign me up. I'm way too lazy to figure out how to silk screen, buy the stuff for it, and figure out a way to get that dior design on there. I'd love for someone else to have the get up and go, though.

this is an awesome design from oddica however, this thread has me questioning the place of elaborately designed tees in my wardrobe .. it is really cool tho!

That oddica thing is a big much for me, but at least it has a sense of humor to it. The shirts that one guy linked to are just terrible pretentious trash that riddles the internet and terrible young dressers who try to hard. I searched for awhile online, but couldn't find a print of the dior design

These days, every Threadless t-shirt shouts HEY, LOOK, I'M A THREADLESS T-SHIRT. The shirt voting process there has become so self-enforcing that the only styles that get produced anymore are ones that are immediately identifiable as a Threadless-type design.

And if that weren't enough, guys' (non-Select) Ts there are still awful, boxy, 50% polyester Fruit of the Loom.

the oddica ones look even more try-hardy to me than a lot of the threadless ones

W/o knowing much about threadless culture, and being a fortysomething, I think the queen is busy in an interesting way and the walnut is clean and nice. The others are half measures and/or precious.
