Anybody get this?  A friend said I probably have an allergy to nickel.  I wear cheap belts, so I can see this being the case, but does anyone know if the more expensive/quality belts use nickel?

Nickel allergy is real. Those folks usually have to watch out for nickel-plated piercings too. Maybe you should Google up a real way to test yourself. My sympathies to you. Good thing I'm invincible.
Most silver-looking buckles are nickel-plated unless you get true sterling silver but you can always go for brass buckles. I personally think that silver-color is much more versatile though.

Allergies to nickel or chrome are very common. You might have to start tucking in your shirts.

I think I'll put some kind of clear tape along the top edge of my buckles.

Tape or clear varnish. Silver belt buckles are not too expensive.

How do you feel about spending money on non-essential goods during the Covid-19 crisis?

  • I don't want to spend money at a time of economic uncertainty, even if I could afford it.

  • I feel compelled to spend to help small businesses that are struggling.

  • I reduced my budget for non-essential goods and I'm not spending at the moment.

  • Not much has changed for me and I'm still buying stuff I can't afford.
