Rangoon Question -- Any Photos?

Does anyone by any chance have any photographic samples of any of the following from the soon-to-be-extinct Minnis Rangoon collection that more truly show the color and texture of the cloths than the (less than ideal) photos on the Minnis website? I would greatly appreciate seeing any such samples, particularly pictures of the cloth actually made up.

0106: http://www.hfw-huddersfield.co.uk/ha...tki=407648569?

0110: http://www.hfw-huddersfield.co.uk/ha...tki=232564372?

0111: http://www.hfw-huddersfield.co.uk/ha...tki=388825524?

0115: http://www.hfw-huddersfield.co.uk/ha...tki=793317824?

0123: http://www.hfw-huddersfield.co.uk/ha...tki=907594626?

0129: http://www.hfw-huddersfield.co.uk/ha...tki=988928108?

Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone might be able to provide.

Excellent question. I'm keen to know, too... Buying some of the Rangoon collection at the sales price is too good an offer to pass up.

Sator, are you out there?

Thanks! Is the photo you posted of 0111?

If I could trouble you for some more information, how subtle is the stripe in 0115 (the blue one)? Is it as high-contrast as the stripe in the grey stripe you posted? Also, what do you think of the plain navy? And is it a hard or soft finish?

Your responses are much appreciated.

Nope - that's the 106 I posted. I am not at home right now, but will post answers to your other questions once I've had a chance to review the book tonight.

Wow! So the photos from the Minnis site are even darker than I thought. (I'm guessing that your shot probably appears a bit lighter than the cloth's true shade -- on account of the flash -- but, still, that's quite a difference.)

Again, many thanks for the information.

Just curious- being new here. How many of you buying raw stock are tailors/haberdashers or are you enthusiasts who are buying for your own bespoke suits?

I can speak only for myself, but I am not a professional -- I'm considering sourcing a few lengths to be made up for my own wardrobe.

Checked out the book. I think the stripe on the 115 isn't all that subtle, and is very much like the grey stripe I posted.

The plain navy is beautiful imo - a classic that should make up very well. It has a hard finish.

Hoping for next week sometime.

I am planning on having two suits made with these fabrics. I think they will be perfect for the florida heat.

How is everyone ordering the fabric at a discounted price? When I view their website, prices are still 55 pounds. Is the discount taken at checkout? Thanks!
