My favorite pocket find was a bullet.

This one from some time about 2 years ago.....

Found these Gitman Bros, Made in Italy, pants. Can't find much on them and am beginning to think they were a bad buy, even at $3.99

Practically new...............................

Apparently worn, maybe once, by a Phillies fan...................

Who didn't know exactly where was the best place to store his cash.......

Guess they were worth the $3.99 after all.
No one ever said Phillies fans were the smartest folks in the world.

In the pocket of a hole-ridden J.Press sport coat, I found a bag of cufflinks. After turning them in, one of the workers let me keep a pair. I kept the pair of 22k gold 1882 $5 coin cufflinks. Sold for about $900.

My second coolest pocket find was a bag of weed, which I also turned in. The cashier did not let me keep any of that unfortunately.

A little geeky numismatic observation... The tickets are for a Philadelphia - New York game. The top hundred dollar bill was printed in Philadelphia. The bottom bill was printed in New York.

I don't have a picture, But I picked up a nice, clean pair of grey shoes from eBay about a year ago, and inside the right shoe, I fished out a cheeky £5 note!

It's safe to say that that was a good day....

Well, I have nothing fun to add except that DRL scares me sometimes, I mean really, who looked close enough at those hundreds to catch something like that? Maybe you should work for the secret service doing counterfeit work.
While I have not found anything really cool yet I will say that the two items I find most often in jacket breast pockets are wedding and funeral announcements. Often makes me happy and sad.

I was at the beach a couple of weeks ago. While there, I visited several thrifts. At one of the thrifts, they had those dressing rooms which were nothing more than a wooden enclosure with a curtain for privacy. My wife and I overheard a woman in the fitting room talking on her phone. The conversation went like this, "Hi! Do you remember that dress you have that I love? Well, you must have recently donated it because I am trying it on and I found your debit card in the pocket."

Which one makes you happy and which one makes you sad? The association can't be assumed.

Tough question now that you ask. I guess the fact that they attended the funeral is better than being in your honor. And many might argue that getting married is the crane thing. Not me, but many.
